Here I am, paying a visit to your blog to thank you for the comment you left in mine.
Your experience in IT resources is very impressive. I hope you find everything you wanted to know about Wordpress. So far there are features I like and some I don´t like, like not being able to add html. I need to be patient and wait because later on in OWP there might be more information on how to use Wordpress successfully for educational purposes.

Hi Uwe, I remember your blogs and sites from last year´s EVO. They have always been so catching with references to wonderful books with their covers to stir our immaginations. I would like to hear more from you on your observations on using different blog servers and which lend themselves better for the use you give to them. I had not notice the word verification feature in Wordpress to avoid spam, as there is in Blogger. Thanks for sharing your creation with us. Warm regards, Berta

Thanks for another great bookblog entry, Uwe! I enjoyed listening during last year’s evo sessions as well…you’ve reminded me of books that I’ve read long ago and want to read again, as well as ones that are on my to-do list.

This is a great site! I enjoyed reading about the authors and books. I had never heard of Philip Ardagh, but now I plan to find out more. I have seen Spoon River performed as a play, which might be another possible use for the book in class. Thank you for the fine site.

A brilliant choice–I never knew Miles Standish was known as “The Shrimp,” or that the pilgrims were so ill-prepared for their new lifestyle. Imagine being a hatter in the wilderness! Thanks for an entertaining illumination of history.
